Recover Michiana

Recover Michiana is an annual festival to celebrate recovery and provide access to resources of support for those personally battling or caring for a loved one battling substance abuse. Our mission is to provide financial support and public awareness toward helping those affected by the opioid and substance abuse crisis.

There will be a celebration area for those currently walking in recovery. There will be a memorial area for those suffering the loss of a loved one. There will be a kids’ play area with many activities for children of all ages. There will be a private talk tent to council and provide answers for those seeking treatment. Our centering mission is to provide a space for and to embrace all family members facing this crisis. The road to wellness should be a journey for all those affected by substance abuse.

The long-term goal is to break the stigma and support those in recovery, provide more access to treatment through treatment sponsorships, and support families left behind in an effort to increase success rates of overcoming addiction.
